Jairzinho Futebol Clube – DISCOVERY – DEVELOPMENT – MANAGEMENT
CEFAN, along with several favela communities in Rio de Janeiro, will also become the home of a local social project in Brazil. The Jairzinho Futebol Clube will be established as a discovery and developmental organization that will also educate the young people that are involved. This will be established through an alliance between Jairzinho the BRASIL70 Members and the Gol Iluminado Foundation.
The Jairzinho Futebol Clube is established to assist players that are in need and that have the potential to develop into world class quality athletes. Football business has become increasingly lucrative over the past few years with transfer fees, endorsement deals, licensing and merchandising opportunities as well as lucrative pay-per-view strategies that we have the opportunity to leverage with the Jairzinho Futebol Clube and our Discovery, Development and Management strategies with Jairzinho and GOL ILUMINADO.
The dynamics of our relationship with the United Nations Sport for Development and Peace and the obvious involvement of UN Goodwill Ambassador Ronaldinho Gaucho will have a significant impact on this incredible and multi-faceted platform.

Futebol is synonymous with Brasilian Culture. Brasil is the home of the 5 Times World Champions and the KING of Football, Mr. Edson Arantes do Nascimento – Pele. Brasil and Pele are synonymous with “The Beautiful Game”. When Brasil promotes Futebol, they are promoting an element of Brasilian Culture that is integrated into every facet of Brasilian life. “Futebol is Life” and innate to Brasilian Culture. A staggering USD$800 Million in revenues has resulted from the transfer of Brasilian Futebol Players over the last 5 years.
OBJECTIVE - MANIFESTO
The Jairzinho Futebol Clube will be sponsored by The Football Fund and the GOL ILUMINADO FOUNDATION and will also act as an "official" Players For Peace organization/Clube.
Jairzinho, along with a professional staff, will manage and operate the Jairzinho Futebol Clube. This is obviously a unique situation - as there will be many historical football icons involved in the Discovery, Development, Education and Management of our young students.
The History of Football is obviously an integrated educational and fundamental element of the Jairzinho Futebol Clube. The history of BRASIL70 will be strategically integrated into our platform, vision and mission.
The Jairzinho Futebol Clube discovery student will have access to the greatest football minds in the history of “The Beautiful Game”. They will also have a fully integrated Client Service Team, led by individuals who have been the most successful football players in the world and by people who have represented the most successful football players in the world. This team will coordinate with expert outside resources to ensure that a personalized/customized, cohesive strategy for meeting specific career, life and financial goals is planned and executed for our students and their families personal needs.

Futebol pe la Paz - Football For Peace
The Campeonato Futebol pe la Paz (Football For Peace Championship) will be coordinated by Jairzinho and Members of BRASIL 70 and will be implemented into the Favela Communities of Rio de Janeiro.
Players For Peace is a movement that works as an organized Commitment of Goodwill, working on concrete LEGACY projects through the GOL ILUMINADO FOUNDATION - to help bring awareness and support for the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 56/75 on "Building a Peaceful and Better World through Sport and the Olympic Ideal", as well as to bring awareness to the UN Millennium Development Goals Program.

The GOL ILUMINADO FOUNDATION a Federal Registered 501(c)(3) Not For Profit - works as a Goodwill Organization in support of the United Nations Sport for Development and Peace program, which is a dynamic and powerful platform that was created by former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan, with the objective to utilize SPORT as the conduit and mechanism to implement educational initiatives for children in need and at risk.
Elias Figueroa has a unique perspective on Brasilian Futebol. He is the only 3 Times South American Player Of The Year winning these honors while playing for SC Internacional in Porto Alegre. Internacional won the Brasilian Championship for the first time in 1975 when Figueroa scored the legendary “GOL ILUMINADO”. Elias Figueroa was voted the Greatest “Non-Brasilian” to ever play in Brasilian Futebol and was inducted into the Maracana “Walk Of Fame” in 2005.
‘Don Elias’ will utilize his GOL ILUMINADO FOUNDATION and his Players For Peace movement to pay homage to the Greatest Team in Football History and to his friends, Jairzinho, Carlos Alberto Torres and Pele. On the 40th Anniversary of the 1970 World Cup Champions achievement, Players For Peace will memorialize the Legacy of Carlos Alberto and his team-mates by launching a 10 Year Mission that will implement 18 Players For Peace BRASIL70 Education Through Sport Legacy Centers throughout the world.
“My mission is to utilize my GOL ILUMINADO FOUNDATION to engrave the Legacy of the Greatest Captain and the Greatest Team in History. Jairzinho is a special friend. He will help change the lives of children, for generations to come”. Our partnership with The Football Fund will ensure that we accomplish our objectives.
Our partnership with CEFAN - Centro de Educação Física Almirante Adalberto Nunes, which is a world class Olympic Training Center that is operated by the Marines and Navy of Brazil - will play a critical and integral role in our Player Discovery, Development and Management system and Organization. It will also provide security and awareness that the military and police can play a role in a structured future for these children. CEFAN will project this positive image.
We have discussed with the Admiral of CEFAN, implementing an ROTC program (Reserve Officer Training Corps), thus providing our students with a unique outlook on life and options of possible military service and career, which will only be positive for them and for society in general.
The Players For Peace Campeonato Futebol pela Paz will also assist the City of Rio de Janeiro with diminishing crime – thus providing the Government with a more positive platform of promoting the City of Rio as a SAFE destination of tourism.
